My favorite picture book growing up was Pinkalicious by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth. I remember my mom purchasing this book for me during a book fair in elementary school and I became obsessed with the color pink and cupcakes. I was fascinated by how the main character turned pink from eating cupcakes! I specifically remember asking my mom to buy me pink cupcakes the day after I read the book for the first time. This book will always remain close to my heart and I will be sure to share it with my students in the future!
